Orange Chicken Recipe?!?!

Ok, I LOVE the Orange Chicken from the Cheesecake factory, but the closest Cheesecake factory to me is a PLANE RIDE away... yup that far. Anyway, i was wondering if anyone knows the recipe for the sauce? (I'm pretty sure the chicken itself is easy to make, its just deepfried/crisped battered chicken breast), so does anyone have the recipe for the sauce?! Thank you!

P.S. Someone told me that it had an ingredient called ';hirsh'; what is that? I've never heard of hirsh?Orange Chicken Recipe?!?!
corn starch, orange juice concentrate, kirsch, grated ginger, and orange zest..

Kirsch is a dry, clear brandy distilled from black morello cherries and is infused with their unique aroma and tasteOrange Chicken Recipe?!?!
Ingredients:

4 chicken breast halves, boneless and skinless

2 tablespoons butter or margarine

1/4 cup onion, chopped

1 1/2 cup orange juice

1/2 teaspoon leaf tarragon, crumbled

1/8 teaspoon pepper

salt (optional)

1 cup evaporated skim milk

Directions:

Flatten chicken breast halves. Saute in butter in large skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through (about 8 minutes). Remove to platter, cover and keep warm.

In same skillet, saute onion until tender but not browned. Add juice, tarragon, pepper and (if you feel it necessary) salt. Stir in milk; cook, stirring constantly until hot and slightly thickened. Spoon over chicken and serve.

Here are 2 recipes:

6 chicken breast halves, skinned and boned--cook deep fried style

2 tbsp. butter

6 orange slices

1 pkg. (6 1/4 oz.) UNCLE BEN'S庐 long grain and wild rice

Pound chicken to 1/4 inch thickness and cook deep fried style as you mentioned. Combine orange juice and honey, set aside. Melt butter in large skillet over medium 300 degree heat. Add honey and orange juice mixture. Place orange slices. Simmer until the consistency of light syrup or gravy. Serve with rice. Pour orange/honey sauce in gravy boat and serve with meal.

-------

2 tbsp. + 2 tsp. butter

1 1/4 lbs. chicken breasts, skinned and deboned-- cook deep fried as you said

2 c. sliced mushrooms

1 tsp. flour

1/2 c. water

1/4 c. thawed frozen concentrate orange juice (no sugar added)

2 packets instant chicken brother and seasoning mix

1/2 c. green onions, thinly sliced

1 c. canned mandarin orange sections

In skillet, heat butter until bubbly and hot; cook mushrooms over high heat. Stirring occasionally until all liquid has evaporated. Sprinkle mushrooms with flour and stir quickly to combine. Gradually stir in water; add orange juice and broth mix and stirring constantly, bring to boil. Reduce heat, add green onions, mandarin oranges and chicken. Let simmer for about 5 minutes to allow flavors to blend. Serve chicken with sauce on top. (Serve with Rice Pilaf and green veggies.)

I never heard of hirsh, may be it is kirsch, its one kind of liqueur, for my orange sauce (Chinese style) very easy, just brown some finely shopped garlic in a little oil add salt and pepper and some sugar add about a cup of orange juice and some grated orange rind , mix one teaspoon corn flour with 1/4 cup of water, add to the sauce, boiled for one more minuit , pour on top of your fried chicken, have a great meal,Good luck
Could you mean kirsch? If so...it's is a clear, colorless fruit brandy traditionally made from double distillation of morellos, a dark-colored cultivar of the sour cherry. However, the beverage is now being made from other kinds of cherries as well. Used in fruit sauces.
