A recipe i'm making calls for 1/4 (4 pound) whole chicken, cooked and deboned. All I have is chicken breasts!!! Can I use this as a substitute and how many chicken breasts do I use?A recipe i'm making calls for 1/4 (4 pound) whole chicken, cooked and deboned. What is its equivalent?
1/4 of a 4 lb. chicken would be 1 lb, but that includes skin and bones. After deducting for that, the recipe probably requires about 3/4 lb. of chicken meat. I would guess 3 breasts would be sufficient.A recipe i'm making calls for 1/4 (4 pound) whole chicken, cooked and deboned. What is its equivalent?
